Joli travail qui rend très bien une ambiance. La pose de Lila est vraiment réussie. L'apparence "photo" de l'arrière-plan tranche un peu avec le style "dessin" de Lila, mais c'est mineur.

Tres belle image, tres evocative... La posture et l'expression de Lila...

J'aime aussi beaucoup la composition et le rendu noir et blanc. Un peu moins certains "grumeaux" du au traitement de la photo qui ne se marrient pas tres bien avec ton trait plus tranchant et elegant.

Ouais, je n'ai pas vraiment trouvé le compromis que je souhaitais entre les éléments hérités de la photo et ceux que j'ai rajouté. Si c'était à refaire, je dessinerais cette image avec Painter X et je n'aurais pas tous ces problèmes!

Yes, you can still see bits and pieces of it here and there, though I mostly painted over it. I would do it slightly differently now, though, there are things about that background I really don't like.

I actually like it a lot :)

And I think I'll experiment with that technique as well, it had never occurred to me yet to use a photo in that way.

I have tried using photos as backgrounds in colour pictures but was never really satisfied. The photo "clashed" with the graphic elements. But in this stark black and white, Sin-City-ish kind of situation... it seems to work real well^^. AND you can paint over it and have to only worry about black and white values :D
