Kronos by The-Mirrorball-Man Kronos by The-Mirrorball-Man
Who's in for some ultra-obscure fan art in the form of a 1960's exploitation movie poster? I sure am.:nerd:

Kronos, King of the Monkey People is one of Craig Ferguson's puppets. You can see His Majesty in action here.

And here's my fan art gallery.

I would definitely buy a full size poster of this and proudly hang it on my wall. This is brilliant...although he's king of the "Cheeky Monkeys"...hehe, it's okay though ;D
Seriously, this is awesome!

Nah, Kronos is the King of the Monkey People, he says it himself here. The leader of the Cheeky Monkeys is called Henry and he looks like this.

And I can't believe I just said that. :D

Thank you very much, by the way.

Can't say I'm familiar with vintage toys - or any toy, actually. But I guess that kind of design is part of a larger pop-culture trend. :)

Je n'ai pas la moindre idee de quoi tu causes, mais techniquement, pris comme un travail de graphisme, il n'y a rien a redire. Tu peux aller bosser a l'usine ;)

Craig Ferguson est un comédien écossais qui a une émission sur une chaîne de télé américaine. Il y a environ six mois, il a commencé à introduire des marionnettes dans son numéro, et Kronos est l'une d'entre elles.

Well, the Cheeky Monkeys are, but there's a lot of evidence to back up the claim that the Monkey People are a monarchy.

Honestly, I've tried to recreate this kind of textures and "old-fashion" look but it never works out.

I really like this one.

You go outside, you rub a piece of paper on the ground, on walls, everywhere, then you scan the piece of paper, put the resulting image on a Multiply layer on top of your drawing, play with contrast, and you're done. Ten minutes tops. If I can do it, I'm pretty sure you can do it too. ;)

And thanks again. :)
